Tom Reuter remains most proud to be a Washingtonian, an Eagle Scout, and a Zag.He was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis shortly after returning home from this South American motorcycle adventure.Modern medicine and healthy living have kept him running, playing, and laughing every day since then. A healthy dose of perspective from nine months on the Pan-American Highway is what really got him through it. That and the love of his wife, Julia.Tom and Julia now live near Tacoma, Washington. Having grown up in both Mexico and Alaska, Julia is the love of Tom's life. They spend their time with family, friends, and in the great outdoors almost exclusively.
